We teamed up with furniture maker Apt2B to design the living room of our new home. A blank slate to start with means a new canvas to paint on. The best part of Apt2B is their vast color selection. They have so many amazing colors to choose from, but we finally landed on yellow and blue as our primary choices. We wanted to have a large inviting comfortable couch for nights watching Netflix docs or NBA TV ticket starring…you guessed it, LeBron and the Lakers.
Best part with all their furniture is you can request a fabric swatch for free and literally feel your final choices. We decided on the microfiber material in blueberry for the couch since it is a super plush fabric as well as easy to clean (for those days when nieces and nephews come over with those sticky hands). With so many modern Art Deco choices we had a hard time making a final decision. The groovy retro Lexington was a no brainer but we decided to help our design eye with a simple Pinterest collage that showed us how our living room would come together. We weren’t sure if the Pascal Area Rug would match our furniture choice, but Viola! she came together swimmingly.
